Software News   Software News : Hollywood for iPad
posted by softwarefailure on 24-Sep-2011 23:02:26 (5446 reads)
Hollywood has recently been ported to the iPad (ARM architecture) by order of a commercial customer who needs to use it on tablet devices in clinics and hotels. A small demo video of Hollywood running on iPad has been uploaded to YouTube.

Unfortunately, it will most likely not be possible to integrate iPad support into Hollywood's cross-compiler because of several technical and legal restrictions that iPad apps are subject to. For commercial customers, however, we can now offer several solutions to get their Hollywood projects converted into iPad apps. Please contact us.

I'm not an iPad (or any tablet) fan, but it is good to see Hollywood expanded to yet another platform. Good work AirSoft Team!

That's awesome news for Hollywood. Good to see an application from our side of the woods ported over rather than Apple's own KeyNote (if it still exists) or iPowerPoint.

I have to say, that is impressive to say the least, well done to the Hollywood guys. It only helps to spread the word that the Amiga community is still alive and active...

We need that Hollywood jump to Android OS, and Hollywood will be the best programming language of the world!

Congrats, nice to see Hollywood progressing.

Any chance for a version version with full Amiga support (gadTools, native Menu, etc...)?

@ Airsoft

WOW! this came as a pleasent surprise :) Congratulations on the release!

Ipad-support is an amazing feature for Hollywood! I even see an old version of Dental Info in the youtube-video :) We will surely hire you to convert the upcoming Dental Info 4.5.

best regards

Is there a web page that describes the legals issues that keep bedroom coders (&Hollywood hobbycoders) away from iPad?

(my first pad might have been iPad, but if Hollywood gets on Android ....)
