| Playing with the demo there was no question to buy the full game. This was what my whole family waited for! :)
Simple game, excellent quality, budget price. Something that Team 17 made decades ago.
I recommend for every OS4 users! |

By the way months ago, on your site, I've seen some cool looking graphics of what seemed like a platform games or something (there was a character and some platforms all done with superb 2D graphics) any chance it will turn into an AmigaOS game? _________________ SamFlex Complete 800Mhz System + AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4 Amiga 2000 DKB 2MB ChipRam GVP G-Force040 Picasso 2 OS3.9 BB2 AmigaCD 32

| Has anyone succeeded in playing this game on OS4.1 Classic?
I can't get it to start on my A4000 with OS4.1Classic.Update3 + Radeon 9200...
Dodge These Balls works fine... but Bubbelsche deluxe seems to be non-working too... _________________ Pegasos2 G3 600MHz | Radeon 9200SE 128MB | 1024MB DDR | 80GB HDD | AmigaOS 4.1

The graphics are drawn using the compositing engine. An OS3.x version would require a complete re-write. Perhaps it's selfish but I'd rather see them get more quality software out for OS4.1 than to spend time supporting older versions of Amiga OS. |

| @ K-L & Rob,
Fair enough, I'll just have to wait until I get an X1000 or X500 then. Last edited by Darrin on 17-Oct-2011 at 02:35 AM.

| Sorry for the late reply, last weekend on Amiga Meeting in Bad Bramstedt (Germany) with not too much sleep and 7 hours driving for one route...
@Dax: We have first tests and paralax scrollings with a level already running on Amiga OS, but this project is huge and will take longer to finish. So we deceided to make smaller projecs in between and parallel a little bit work on the bigger ones like this jump ´n run (there is very much to paint...).
@dbrain: we have feedback from users witch classic OS 4.1 where the game runs. But there seems to be a memory problem. We also can not check all configurations, there are very much in the wild ;)
So try this to save memory:
1. without looking in the config dialog, the game runs in windows mode at 960x540 pixels, so start the config dialog and choose a fullscreen mode (800x600 to try). Before starting the game look if there are other programs open, because in fullscreen the game closes the workbench to save memory. If the workbench can be closed, it should work ... hope so!
2. disable music: Try to disable the music in config dialog, so now titlemusic will be loaded (around 40mb saved...), effects are available if you check the no music button in config dialog.
I hope the game would run if you play in fullscreen and with no music. We have emails where the game runs well in 800x600 to 1024x768 in at least 20 fps (up to 40), if this works it would be fine on classic ;)
Please write us if the game not runs, with sending a crashlog.
@Darrin: how written above, the OS3.x is not able to run in compositing mode and it is full optimized to it. I also think if you give OS 4.1 a try, you will see there are much things done and better than 3.x. You also have all things (mediator+Radeon) to run the workbench in hardware accellerated mode. This is not just eye candy, this puts some things in the graphics card and the CPU has not so much to do -> faster and better workbench feeling.... If i had a classic with mediator+radeon, i would use 4.1 (also if i don´nt want to play swamp defense (ok, there may be problems with memory...)).
Edit: Currently we are working on the release from "River Pirates", which is based on the technics from swamp defense but with other graphics, other maps (at start 6) and other balancing. If you buy swamp defense, you also get River Pirates at release (next week(s) ).

Best regards and thank you for your support. Every sold game helps us to make more and bigger games... Last edited by imagodespira on 17-Oct-2011 at 03:10 PM.
