| In the works. Basically CW on AROS compiles and then hard-crashes upon startup without me being able to see where the crash is. I will try to compile again on the new AROS distribution ASAP. It is a clear goal for me to support AROS (and MorphOS) |

| That's good news Desler.
Looking forward to trying it on my Icaros 1.4 machine. _________________ AmigaOS or MorphOS on x86 would sell orders of magnitude more than the current, hardware-intensive solutions. And they'd go faster.-- D.Haynie

| Excellent, thanks for your work Desler! I'll give it a whirl when I get home.
I'm delighted that the interface is becoming more "Amiga-like" as it's something I found a little jarring in previous releases, being a heavy user of right-click menus and shortcuts myself... Keep up the good work! _________________ RobTheNerd.com | InstallerGen | SMBMounter | Atoms-X

| Really nice work & progress.
A couple of comments though: - I cannot type in greek (I suppose the codepages are not fully supported). - I cannot copy from Cinnamon Writer & Paste to other app running (not the same clipboard?).
Looking forward to seeing an OpenOffice clone or even better _________________ Ordell Robbie: Is she dead, yes or no? Louis: Pretty much.

Thanks for the release and your hard work. I ll have to try it on my peg2. How good is the formating support of DOCX documents? |

| @Cass Clipboard support is certainly something that is high on the priority list, so are the problem with codepages.
@Realize DocX support covers all functionality of CW. So whenever a new feature is added to CW the corresponding compatibility is added to the DocX import / export
@Trixie Thank you for the donation. This project relies on two things: Peoples feedback and donations. While feedback gives me an idea of where to take the project and what people would like to have changed, donations allows me to run the homepage, allows me to invest in software to develop CW with and hopefully in the future enough to fund other developers writing code for CW or other projects in the future
@AROS and MorphOS users Im very honored by your interest in this project. Porting is in progress. There are however some problems: I had problems bug hunting on AROS and I do not have access to a MorphOS machine, so please have patience |

Do you plan to add Unicode support to CW in the near future ?
Currently I can't type Turkish (ISO-8859-9) letters in CW.. _________________ AmigaOS4 Beta-Tester ---------------------------------- Amiga X5000 8GB Radeon RX 560 Amiga A1222 2GB Radeon RX 550 Sam 460 2GB RadeonRX 550

Like the new right click menus, feels more natural to use now.
The new version seems a lot more stable. I tried loading various docx files, however CW crashed on one I tried with lots of tables and text boxes.
Looking forward to improved PDF export, would be nice to produce future versions of 'Get the most out of your Amiga' with CW. _________________ gtmooya's blog

| Installed on my SAM440ep-M9-667Mhz, works nicely. Thanks!
Very important application for Amigas. I prefer native Amiga applications over 68k ones or ported apps etc... _________________ - KimmoK // For freedom, for honor, for AMIGA // // Thing that I should find more time for: CC64 - 64bit Community Computer?

| @SinanG I will look into codepages. Didn't know that this problem existed. Which characters proves to be problematic?
@KimmoK Im so glad to hear. How is the speed? I know I need to make optimizations for the hypothetical laptop, but it would be nice if the program as it is now is usable on a machine specced like yours :) |

| Hi Desler, I really like the program so far, although on my micro Cinnamom gives the grimreaper, when i use the 'smart' arrow-button selection of font size, otherwise thanks for a nice program Last edited by Paladine on 15-Mar-2012 at 02:49 PM.

If you use "-g" flag for both compiling and linking and then run the app in a debug build of AROS hosted under Linux (or send your app to someone who has this version of AROS) then you can get a detailed backtrace like this after a crash:

Hey dont really know what that means? Can you elaborate? My question is does the page and text formating get screwed up when importing DOCx files? Is it as good as say Libre Office (ooo.org) Thanks |

I think he means that currently it works the other way, a document created in cinamon would open correctly in word or whatever, but a more complex document from word will likely not open right just yet. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad
