We are in bad need of programming manuals. I am not much into low-level stuff, but I have question for you. If you get enough money to do this book, would you be willing or able to do a book for C++/C programming for Amiga Os4? Or is there currently a C++/C book planned or in the works?

I will be willing to donate to get some programming manuals for sure!

There is another person already works on something like this, and his plans to make an application-based-programming book (through dunno when/if/etc). While my goal more about low-level side. Currently working on the chapter about hacking of sobjes in realtime (via some patching in memory, etc), but that all mostly for understanding internals, not something which one can recomend for beginners.

Excellent initiative.

One suggestion for the PDF version though; please remove the grey shadow from below the text. On headings I could "possibly" get away with it, however, for the main body text, it just gives me a headache trying to read it.

Great initiative, developers' documentation is badly needed, even if only in electronic format!
This also makes me think of what happened with this other project, which should've been less lowlevel oriented so with a possibly wider audience We need both!!

Interesting project, congrats to all people involved!
I am interested in purchasing the final book, paper or electronic format, it doesn' t really matter to me.

A book more at "application" level would be great as well!
