| Nice. I'll download the files when I get home. Which reminds me, I really need to register my X1000 and OS4.1!
I must admit, I already own the originals of every Amiga Cinemaware game. Those were the days... _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64

You mean you haven't yet updated your X1000 with the various updates issued at the registered users' download site?
Do note that you will need to do that, and especially apply update 6 with the AmiUpdate integration and download and install all updates it will offer you, before you are able to use these games.
Also make sure you run AmiUpdate again after each update you install, to make sure it offers no new updates. Some of them have dependencies on each other, so won't be offered until the predecessor is installed, and you have rebooted.
Best regards,
Niels |

| @Nibunnoichi I think he's miffed that it's not available for (the now old 6 years old) AmigaOS 4.0 . (I also imagine that some people are miffed that Internet Explorer 9 is not available for Windows XP...) Last edited by ChrisH on 29-Jan-2013 at 09:00 AM. | Now wait a minute... haven't those ADF files been downloadable for free from Cinemawares web page for ages now? In which case this is just a big announcement of including something already freely available to every single person with access to an Amiga or an Amiga emulator. | Well maybe, but if you're going to redistribute something you need to ask promotion to do so, if you do not own it yourself. What I like to know is if what Cinemaware who asked if Hyperion was interested or if it was Hyperion who asked Cinemaware. How committed is Cinemaware to release new games for AmigaOS? What are Cinemaware future plans?
I like the initiative, some of these games where cool back in the 80's. _________________ http://lifeofliveforit.blogspot.no/ Facebook::LiveForIt Software for AmigaOS

Not everyone has upgraded to 4.1.
If an up-to-date install of 4.1 is required to take advantage of this offer, it should be clearly stated. _________________ Robert -- A1XE G4, OS4.1. Peg1 G3, MOS 1.4. Abel Soul - Check out our tunes on Spotify

Not miffed at all. Just pointing out a slight inaccuracy.
I don't see me having time to play any of those games anyway, even if I wanted to.

Well, if Microsoft announced it was available for all Windows users, they'd have every right to be. But they didn't, did they?Last edited by Robert on 29-Jan-2013 at 09:16 AM.

You make several wrong assumptions in that statement... (I'll leave it to actual AmigaOS4.1 users to find out what.)Last edited by ChrisH on 29-Jan-2013 at 09:28 AM. Last edited by ChrisH on 29-Jan-2013 at 09:28 AM.
