| Ordered (alone with Quake)!
Your website seems to have an issue though. I went through the shopping cart, clicked to pay via credit card, OKed the price, got to a screen where it said "click continue below to pay by credit card", but there was no continue button and my only option to pay was to use Pay Pal on the right of the screen. _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64

| Does it work on original AmigaOne and Peg 2? Wasn't 100% clear from requirements.

| I had the pleasure of demoing the first public showing of M.A.C.E. at the recent Silicon Dreams/VCF show.
My order placed. What more can I say.

Game looks great!
Going to your site and choosing the software category and then using the "show" dropdown menu gives me this:

| I think the news should have been that M.A.C.E. CD version is avilable at regular stores.
Otherwise, it seems to be more an ad for AmigaKit than a new for a game release.
Anyway, Alinea and Amedia also offer the game on their respective stores.
I really like AmigaKit but I do really not like when they advertise in the news (no problem if they create a new forum thread) for one software also proposed by others, it's a kind of unfair competition.
In the same way, we regulary see AmigaKit advertising in threads about products sold by another reseller, saying they also offer the product. If someone asks about an AmigaOne 500 from ACube, there is no need to come advertise for his own shop saying they also offer the Sam460, it is not correct (but I do understand it anyway).
Theorically, this news should have announced the availability of the game on CD and pointed to all the stores selling it and should not have been used as a promotion space for only one reseller.
It's different when we talk about one specific product (AmigaOne X1000 from AmigaKit, Red One X from Relec, AmigaOne 500 from ACube Systems, ect...) and I perfectly understand when AmigaKit posts some news about the X1000.
Here, I still continue to think that this is unfair for other resellers (and I think AW -and Amigans- should have rephrased the news or better, they should have admins to write impartial news).
BTW I ordered 2 copies from Amedia Last edited by K-L on 05-Aug-2013 at 06:12 AM.

General availability has already been announced by Entwickler-X. Out of courtesy, we waited until they made their announcement. This news item is specifically about availability for our customers at our store. We have a lot of our customers specifically waiting to buy this game from us since we demonstrated the game in the Vintage Computer Festival a few weeks ago. This news item addresses it.
Incidentally, the shop you chose to buy the game from already announced they are taking pre orders on Amiga.org whilst they wait for stock before our announcement that we have stock of MACE.
I hope you enjoy playing MACE. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

I do not visit Amiga.org but indeed this is the case and I do think the exact same way for Amedia.
A general news pointing to every reseller should have been an impartial way to inform about the availabilty of the game on CD.
On Amiga-Ng.org (French site about AmigaOS 4.1), I am the one writing the news and I do not validate news which look like advertisements. I want an impartial website in order to avoind unfair competition beteween resellers.
I do understand your point but I don't think it's fair to let people think you are the only reseller (and the same goes for Amedia on Amiga.org). _________________ PowerMac G5 2,7Ghz - 2GB - Radeon 9650 - MorphOS 3.14 AmigaONE X1000, 2GB, Sapphire Radeon HD 7700 FPGA Replay + DB 68060 at 85Mhz

We are a full time Amiga business unlike many part time resellers in this Community. We specialise in selling only Amiga products and we do not have a side business selling PCs or Macs. It may surprise you, but our day job is AmigaKit along with all the costs that this brings. Every product and every customer is important to our business so we can pay our expenses and overheads at the end of every month. Furthermore, every product we sell, the revenue goes back to reinvesting in Amiga market to grow it and to help/encourage partners such as Entwickler-X. After all, we all want to see more quality Amiga gaming titles in the future and support new software developers. Over the 10 years we have been trading, we have seen many resellers appear when there are new products, make profit from quickly selling them then disappear and close their business, leaving customers without support in the long term. We have been here for the Amiga community through difficult times, working hard and taking great financial risk, as well as good times. We provide a service to our customers, so they know in a years time, we will still be there for them. I think you may consider this market to be able to sustain more resellers than is commercially viable? _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

| @Plexus: yes the bug is known, some users found it ;) It is not a bug, it is a Feature, an easter egg ;)
In the next update we will fix it. I really played month and did not see it...
But from the Point of cheating, it is not a Problem. You get no Points if you run through the Level and at least on the first Boss, you well Need more than a simple weapon to get him...
@Topic: Just to say it, we dont made 100000000 Discs, so it is limited. Amiga Market is small, but the game runs well in the Shops. So buy it before it is out of stock. We could make perhaps a new Batch, but before this we must contact the Shops and ask for a number they would sell, if it is not enought maybe M.A.C.E. will bring some day much money if you sell it on ebay like other classic Amiga games ;) _________________ www.amiboing.de - www.entwickler-x.de

| Well, advertising new stuff does help. I saw the USB joystick being out of stock before. This thread alerted me to the fact its been restocked, and subsequently I just ordered 2 of them.
Looking forward to next LAN party, playing those good old games :) |

Damn, now you tell me.
Will this game work OK with normal Comp Pros via a Catweasel in the X1000 PCIe slot? | Competetion pro usb stick is totally rubbish, the microswitches is laggy and the stick is too "stiff" and unprecise, i do not recommend it to anyone.
I have the original Comp pro from 1980's , well actually i have 2 of them but i have never tried em with catweasel, i should do that but for now i use a playstation joypad/joystick adapter and then i can use most if not all options from that one. _________________ See my blog and collection website! . https://www.blog.amigaguru.com
