AmiATLAS Appeal
Surely many a user has been annoyed with some destination, a location or an attraction in the near vicinity or even one's own place of residence not being included or even being incorrectly contained in one of AmiATLAS' maps?!
But that has never really been a real problem! After all, you have always been able to include custom additions, whatever they may be! Such a thing cannot easily be said of PC routing software...
Now, in order to not only enjoy your additions alone or maybe even to not have to make the effort at all, why not let all users share them???
Thus here the appeal to all new and long-time users of AmiATLAS:
Please notify us of your wishes, of what is still missing in the maps or has to be changed because of faulty entries.
Also informational items about places or attractions are most welcome!
We are looking forward to any useful eMails in this regard to the following address:
There is even a little surprise for all practical and implemented pieces of information...
Thanks to all Amiga users for your help!
******************************************************* AmiATLAS Development Team,
I will hopefully be doing a review of AmiATLAS 6 in issue 16 of Total Amiga magazine http://www.totalamiga.org I will be looking at the entire package but will base most of my opinion of it on the supplied UK map, so the above ideas are very welcome as I understand the UK map/places of interest are less featured than say the Germany map, if I am incorrect (in version 6) that would be great. I have used Auto Route on the PC & Route 66 on the iMac and it would be interesting how it compares (especially considering the difference in development budget) to these.
Will you be keeping a central database where all additional information for maps is kept for users to be able to download (once verified) and update their maps?
Any additional information you have would be very welcome

As a Professional Driver (Aimer, more like) these sort of proggies can of great benefit to me.
When it says it's editable does that mean I can click on ..say Norwich and it bring up a list of Delivery/collection points that I have previously entered with useful info...
Like a little a-z style map to location (just from major road) and any restrictions I might encounter !!
Phone numbers ..etc
This sort of Atlas would be VERY helpful to me and I would definately buy it !!
