| If I may ask, has this program been tested under latest MorphOS?
Is there any incompatibility? Cause I don't want to found any after a crucial back up :P _________________

I have personally not tested it on MOS, but it is a plain OS2/68k program so I doubt there would be any specific incomatibilities with MOS that would not also occur on OS4.
Especially if you don't have any files larger than 4GB there should be nothing to worry about.
You could just try making a backup and then check it manually before deleting the original. And you can also check it with the new Verify byte-by-byte function. If Verify detects a problem (that you cannot trivially explain) after backup it could mean BackUp has not detected certain changes and not backed up some file, but I really doubt this would happen, especially if you use an Amiga file system and not Samba or USB with FAT. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| I tried it other day on MorphOS and seems to work fine (just like earlier versions too). It's been my backup solution on MorphOS for some years.
BTW. I tried that verify byte-by-byte function and it said that there's one difference, but I couldn't see anywhere which file it would be. Should I see it or was I just in too hurry to notice it? :) _________________ - The wiki based MorphOS Library - Your starting point for MorphOS - Software made by jPV^RNO

| You need to check the log to see what the difference is. You can activate 3 different places to log in the Log menu.
I usually log to a file. I have that option and "Backup.log" saved as default prefs. But you can also get the log in the stats window (can get huge and slow) or to the console (might not be able to see and scroll through all). I think file is the best. Fast and always covers all. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.
