Im not even one of the people you're baiting and it pissed me off.
Just lost a customer cos of this nonsense. I'd previously been looking forward to purchasing OS4.1 final, but Im not supporting these sorts of clowns.

@all: This here the same situation as the last years. The radeonHD driver is provided from A-EON and have to be purchased from there. Why should it now be different, because a final version of AmigaOS costs now only 30 bucks?
We never had the state of current 2.4 HD drivers if nobody had supported it. Development ist not a thing of a weekend or two.
And we all have the choice.
1. buy not a HD Card if you don't need it older cards works fine with the radeon driver, expect some new features. I know people who are happy also with radeon9xxx or the sam460 onboard gfx.
2. buyers of the radeonHD 1.0 get the 1.2 as free update and get able to use new types of cards
3. If you want all, buy a 2.4 and get more improvements like better video playback and support the further development.
I am glad to have the drivers, many thanks for Hans and its hard work on it. And I am looking forward to more from him.
