Weird:
just noticed that the news order is wrong on aw.net.
This news from today appears below the "A-EON Technology Amiwest 2014 News Releases" from two days ago.

I'm installing it now as I write here, looks very good and the speed is awesome (even though I just using the CD/DVD atm) =)

| Hey hey, don't worry. News from oct 29 has been updated this afternoon, and this may have impacted on the news order. That's surely odd, but please don't rush up to wrong conclusions: it might be just a coincidence.

Nice video! I'm amazed QEMU is running so fast for you: on my A8 powered laptop I can only dream a similar speed! Anyway, let me give you a hint.
This time I configured QEMU to use VMware SVGA virtual card, which should give more freedom about video modes (and general speed) than the emulated Cirrus Logic which Icaros used in the past. You should surely try using a widescreen resolution on your QEMU as well. Try modifying the 1024x768 entry in GRUB with, for instance, either 1280x720, 1280x768 or 1280x800 (one of them should work good). Also 1920x1080 should work. If you see the first screenshot published in this news, you'll notice a 1280x720 AROS screen running in QEMU, on top of a 1366x768 Windows™ resolution. |

| On Qemu on LinuxPPC i can use VMware Vga, on macos x there is a problem with colors if i use it or the std options too :(
PS: it is running on VirtualPC and is FAAAAAAST!
the only prolem im facing if i install Aros on vhd (for now) if i install on vhd Vpc crash (dho!)
i have to check lan and audio too..
but overall experience is great i can use all sdl programs and is great!

Meanwhile I am also sure that the a.org debate about unreleased news items was just caused by one or two of there mods and i interpreted it false. Shit happens.
