AEROS (the AROS hosted distribution) for Raspberry Pi beta 8 is ready for download for registered users at www.aeros-os.org
Codename this time is "Anti Anti"
Changelog:
- Better compatibility with different SD-cards (8GB or more is reuquired)
- Supports now Raspberry Pi model B+ and A
- changed theme for linux app to one with less hunger for ressource
- Epiphany Webbrowser with HW-accelerated HTML5 (youtube is working, HTML5 games as well)
- Latest debian Wheezy systemfiles
- enabled AROS network stack at boot so games and software requiring this will work now (for example Abuse)
- Removed old unnecessary stuff

Public release follows as usual some days later (missing the feature of executing Linux apps from AROS).

nice work.

But I keep thinking posts like these are official showcase of what AEROS on Rasberry PI can do.

I was expecting benchmarks and apps review to see how usable it was, not jt showing a webpage load up.

Check my Channel for Videos showing libreoffice GIMP tuxpaint netsurf wazp3d omxplayer xbmc scummvm and so on.
I can't Redo that every Time : )

Public version is underway to the server... 3 hours left.

About the indieGO!-client download-speed please check this out:
"to increase the download speed by factor 4 you can edit the app-dlm.prefs file in a text editor.
Change the chunk size value from 64 to 256.
You can try 128, 256, 512 and so on. For me 256 is fine and reaches my DSL-limit. "

Next indieGO!-client will have faster download by default.

EDIT:
Beta 8 publc version is now available at the indieGO!-appstore.
