Announcement   Announcement : Edgar Vigdal passed away
posted by _Steve_ on 4-Apr-2015 1:44:01 (5434 reads)
Deluxe Galaga/Deluxe Pacman and PC Warblade programmer Edgar Vigdal has sadly passed away in the evening of the 1st April 2015.

Edgar had been unwell for some time, but sadly has now lost his battle with cancer. While he may no longer be with us, his programming legacy will live on and be remembered fondly by those who are left.

How sad. Rest In Peace, and condolence to his family.

Those Deluxe games are really deluxe in every aspect. Why I did not sent a mail with thanks to him before this day.

Very sad news. I love Deluxe Galaga - one of my number one all time favourite games. A talented coder with a good eye for creating slick software - we are lucky to have had him.

I also played both games a lot back in late 2000 . Why does cancer also get the good people I lost one of my best mates to cancer. Just hope one day technology will find cure.

What a great games he made I lost and I found playing Deluxe Galaga and enjoyed a lot.

Good thanks to his family and Rest In Peace Edgar.

Remember to make some great scores on Deluxe Galaga even reaching to the top of the HighScore table.
