| Installed and AOrganiser works fine... 
Exept Python. = "file is not executable" as all Python-scripts on my Sam460ex (AmigaOS 4.1FE).
(Python has never worked, so that's just expected...) |

All the scripts have the scrit bit set when archived and they still do when I unarchive them here, so I'm not sure why they get unset when installed via amistore, this has been reported with SketchBlock too.

Did you run the installer? Or install by hand?
The Installer_utility script detects and actually fixes that bug in the FE python install.
You can fix it by hand by doing
echo "" NOLINE >PYTHON:Lib/email/mime/__init__.py
in a shell.

The old 1.4 version on os4depot has a compaion program that will convert Digita Organiser files into arexx script that AOrganiser can load.
That diary file can then be imported inot AO 2.1
I can't uaranetee results as I have no Digita Organiser data to start from, I migrated to AO in 2006

I did download that a few days ago. It mentions a utility called import that can be used for Digita's v1 files - which may work on v2.
However, the import utility is not in the archive of AO 1.4 !

There's bug in the FE + install of python I only found whilst creating the AO python scripts and modules, basically a few zero byte files were not included in the archive.

The python installer would have been unaware of the bug, however I used the Installation_Utility for this project as that is written in python it can detect the missing module and recreate it, but only if you run the AO installer...

Ah, not haveing used that for such a long time I didn't rememeber I'd dropped from the build.
If you send me sample Digita Organsier 2.0 file I'll see about creating a script to parse and import the data into AO 2.1

The diary keeps it's traditional look, but adds the abilty to fully customise colour scheme and fonts. A new custom gadget was created to ease disply of events in the main windows (also uses custom fonts colours). The existing built in calendar gadget was extended to alow highlght of the current day and the selected event, and is now used in a new date requester, to ease entering of new dates.
