| that's great news for A1-SE/ XE users that want to use Linux and a testament to their durability to still be running ok after all the early hardware issues

| Wow! Thats really awesome! I wish there was a Pegasos 2 version... peg linux support wss excellent when Genesi was around.
At the developer: looks like it would be easy to do a pegasos 2 one what would it take? |

The Pegasos, much like the X1000 and beyond is a totally different hardware set up and firmware. Machines using amigaboot.of aren't as easy to deal with. This installer makes use of the Linux booting support in SLB which the Pegasos doesn't have. And I don't know how to create a loader or kernel files that could be hooked into the Kicklayout to have the same effect.
However, unlike the AmigaOne machines, the Pegasos had official Debian support. Even now, there are files on the official install CD, that allow it to boot on a Pegasos machine. But I haven't tested it either so I don't know if the later ones still work.
