Hi All,

So a short recap.

A whole new computer.
Branded "Amiga"
Has many features of the C-One.
Ben Hermans is part of A-Eon.

So who got AInc. to license "Amiga"?

A-Eon = Amiga of The Ages.
Ben Hermans.

Hmm, sounds good. What do you think?

I think the processor is definetely maybe a 4core cpu.

Was there an octopus in 20000 Leages Under The Sea? And how many arms did it have?

Or maybe more cores?

Lol, Hyperion should be dropping the BoingBall as if it were a second New Years Eve countdown, no?

They could do a simple animation for the website... when the ball drops all is revealed :)

BTW It's totaly but there is something strange about the AEON word.

In Turkic languages:
Ay means "month" and it also means "moon"
On means "ten" and it also means a number which you do not bother to count because it's a big number.

AyOn is the Turkic spelling for AEON

Moon is a combination of Mo (Om in reverse) and On.
There are many cycles of moon.
Just wanted to share

at least on our platform, every coding effort is appreciated by its users. Even small programs are met with great thanks. Anyone can contribute.

I can confirm that. When I wrote WordNet, I got a number of very positive responses from people who find the program useful. Very rewarding! On Windows, nobody would probably even notice.

@Rogue

I do not want polemics.
Only a few questions from someone who has many years has hoped for a true rebirth of the Amiga.
I have a Sam. Did you include the custom chip means that Sam will not be + supported?
Support Sam will stop only at version 4.1.
Gone are the relationships with Acube? Will no longer support future machines and / or tabs (see eye-motion) created by Acube?
This info, I just wanted to know how to send my hard-earned savings in the near future.
Sorry for my English, thanks and good job.

@CPU

I think the CPU is not set in stone in these threads.

The original options:
"titan|e600|8641D|8640D|QorIQ|P2020|p4080|pa6t|970mp|83290|pwrficient"

I think pwrficient is dead.
83290(big PPC with Titan cores) is not available yet (and TrevorD said it's not it?).
e600 is just a core name. (and so is titan?)
970mp would need a more complex motherboard.
8641D/8640D does not have PCIx16 capability, not in easy way, unless the xilinx...

So for me, there's only:
QorIQ|P2020|p4080|pa6t|

Unless 83290 schedule is ahead of it's time (etc.) or 8641D/8640D could somehow do the 16x trick.

@Flystone

I think SAM is an example of the low end.
I do not see why XCore(s) could not be plugged to the SAM FPGA I/O connector...

@CPU
To me it seems that initially AOS on the Nemo might only support single core. But it might be able to run two instances of any OS at the same time.

And reminder of the rough roadmap:
http://www.osnews.com/story/22391/The_Future_of_AmigaOS4_a_Roadmap

@x

I think we have found out biggest part of it.

Hmm. Andrew K said something about confirming things going awry with a side comment to Trevor.

Maybe they're just playing games with us all? Nah they wouldn't do that.. would they?

P.S. Are Titans 32-bit only?
