I know that OS4 went into production (duplication) in 19th April but are the CDs ready?
Are the CDs going to dealers now?
Rouqe said that he didn't know. Maybe somone else can say? Hyperionmp?
Or maybe it is top secret information. ...to keep BBRV from attacking the convoy with OS4.

thanks.

@mr2

Well, it had better reach the users pretty darn soon, or threads like this are likely to appear more frequently than Paris Hilton's home videos...

The names "Rogue" BTW. "Rouge" is the counterpart to "Noir"

Like I said, the CD is in production, and will be done . We 'think* we will get them back shortly before the show on May 15th, but I am just saying we *think* because there is no way of being sure, and factors like production and transport might come between.

So please, don't start yet another thread. Believe me that if they turn up you folks will hear it immediately. Really. I mean it. Even if that means another "they make a press release for everything" kind of thread on those other sites

In British politics, as well as Amigan politics, 'Rouge' would be the counterpart to 'Bleu'. Isn't 'Blanc' the opposite of 'Noir'?

@RedMelons

Are we talking colour-differences here? If so, then Rouge would be the counterpart to Cyan.

@tonyw

In Swedish rouge is most commonly used as a make-up term.
Like in "she wears rouge today "

It may be unrealated, but the Blondie concert at Clutch Cargos in Pontiac Michigan, that was supposed to be tonight was canceled. Perhaps Debbie Harry is going to do another promo for the Amiga's come back! Curse of the Amiga.....

So is "Roque" a short form of Roquefort?

Hi

I thought Rouge was from Star Wars as in Rouge Squadron.

Anyway I believe the CDs have been intercepted by MJ12 who are checking them to see if there is any alien technology used in OS4.

Seriously I can wait as I still have to buy a graphics card and hard drive for my AmigaOne.

bye

Andy

Are you refering to the Rogue squadron?

No, he's right. "Rogue" was just Factor5's misprint, it's meant to be Rouge Squadron, as in "Red 5, standing by".

Cheers,

Andrew

Surely Cordon is the counterpart to Bleu?

I was referring to Roulette or german politics, where we have a red party (SPD) and a black party (CDU/CSU). Take your pick

Still in coalition with the reds, but since the off-topic was "rouge" vs. "rogue", I didn't mention them

Rouge- n.

1. A red or pink cosmetic for coloring the cheeks or lips.
2. A reddish powder, chiefly ferric oxide, used to polish metals or glass.

I think that I would tend to steer clear of that Rouge Squadron . . . .
