Mediator 4000 now supported by the NetBSD operating system |

| The family of ELBOX Mediator 4000 PCI bridges is now supported by NetBSD, thanks to the new em4k driver. It was tested successfully with SATALink 3114 and NE2000-compatible ethernet cards. Work on graphics cards support is in progress.

This is the 6th public beta of AmiSystemRestore:
* Windows can now remember their position & size!
* The main window no-longer briefly opens when the first restore point is created.
* It should write to the debug log (and nag you about it) rather less often!
* Soft links should be handled correctly again.
* Got rid of an puzzling error message, that was not obviously associated with AmiSystemRestore.

| Version 1.5.1 of AROS distribution Icaros Desktop is now available for download, in all three flavours (Live!, Light and update pack for current Icaros users). This update fixes some compatibility issues of AROS' new "backported kernel" and should allow booting on hardware which didn't work with v1.5, including some motherboards paired with GeForce cards. Now available - my first commercial Amiga OS4 program - AmiSafe!
AmiSafe is a password protection program for Amiga OS4 that uses a simple Reaction interface to allow you to enter and store all of your credit/bank card, internet or other passwords and information. Your passwords are encoded using a rijndael encoding algorithm that ensures that only your master password will unlock the information.

It is based on Aros 68k and Kickstart Replacement and is extended with 68k components/technology and software. From the view of applications and games it is a patched 3.1. environment. But it is not another 68k distribution, it is a real independent environment that is highly compatible and can run on real hardware and emulated.
