This report is a summary of what was conveyed to the public at the AmiWest 2010 show. This information is direct from Hyperion Entertainment and its partners.
AmigaOS 4.1 for classic Amiga systems with PPC accelerators has been announced. This includes AmigaOS 4.1 Update 2 plus support for Radeon graphics cards via an x86 emulator to initialize them. There is also direct support for ZorRAM and you will be able to use multiple ZorRAM boards up to the theoretical limit.

With banquet attendance exceeding 60 people, there is no doubt this was a well attended AmiWest. Add in the fact original Amiga developers Carl Sassenrath and Dale Luck were present and you had one heck of a 25th anniversary Amiga show!
This year I'm going to concentrate on the AmigaOS side of AmiWest so there is no clone news from me this time. I was also not representing anybody but myself at the show this year. This means everything that I said at the show or that is written here is my opinion and my opinion only.

I am please to announce that we have two all new and not ported Aros applications which form the first part of a range of Aros Quick Media tools. Following on will be Quick Converter, for converting audio files, and then later Quick Videos.
Both written by Ian Gledhill and funded by iMica system.

The download area of the Amiga Future homepage has been updated again:

We want to extend the full version area of the Amiga Future webpages

REBOL 3 has just been released for the AmigaOS 4.1 and can be downloaded from the alpha downloads section.
REBOL 3 is currently in alpha and so is the Amiga version. Please read the documentation on the REBOL site for more information.
