The Christmas BOH under the tree |
| Announcement posted by saimo on 7-Dec-2009 17:17:42 (2416 reads) |
The Christmas season brings good news to who'd smile at the idea of finding a copy of BOH under the tree: in fact, from December 8 through January 6, the boxed game will come at just EUR 10.00 and the digital version at just EUR 7.50 (prices do not include VAT 20%)! Don't miss this chance to buy yourself or give as a gift a quality game for so little!
But that's not all, as there's a little surprise also for current users: update8 is available right now for free download!

As is tradition, Cubic can be acquired at a drastically reduced price for a few dark days before Christmas - take advantage of it while stock lasts and get your complete package for editing and software development (AmigaOS, MorphOS).
With Cubic, you can edit and check HTML documents, write and compile software, localize programs, edit Hollywood multimedia scripts, create installations or write AmigaGuide documentation.
Shipped on CD-ROM or as ISO image download.

| Events posted by RobertB on 2-Dec-2009 8:21:04 (2029 reads) |
Hi, everybody,
We have another SCCAN meeting on Sunday, December 6, from 2 p.m. to 4+ p.m.. For the location of the meeting, send me an e-mail.
I'll be bringing the loaded A1200 tower. Also I'll show the GVP A530 (hard drive plus '030 accelerator) that I picked up at the Vintage Computer Festival East back in September. We'll see if we can cure Jason's ailing C64. Don't forget to bring your stuff to show off/demonstrate, too.
See you at the meeting!

SabreMSN 0.60 - Basic file transfers support |
| Software News posted by jahc on 1-Dec-2009 9:27:44 (4108 reads) |
| This release is dedicated to Mick from irc.amigaworld.net #amigaworld. He single handedly hammered the correct values into my binary headers, corrected the replys, INVITE messages and decoding, etc. MSN coding is hard. Try his console based Amiga client AmiMSN for a preview of what SabreMSN will support next year :)

Amiga Forever and C64 Forever 2009.1 Released - Cyber Monday Special |
| Software News posted by mcb on 30-Nov-2009 17:07:53 (2369 reads) |
| A few months ago Cloanto released Amiga Forever 2009 and completed the set of supported Commodore/Amiga systems by adding C64 Forever to the product line. The two packages share the same RetroPlatform player and content management framework, and also work very well together. For example, when an RP9 game file is double-clicked, the correct player opens automatically. Amiga and C64 (or VIC 20, PET/CBM, etc.) content can even be played back side by side.
