Announcement   Uh Oh! Spot's AmigaOS 4.0 blog has gone live!
Announcement posted by spotUP on 10-Jun-2008 8:25:26 (2776 reads)
People asked me to set up a page with a donation button for my AmigaOS 4.0 porting projects.

I decided to make it a page where i collect all the ports i've done. I will also blog about ongoing ports and stuff so if you want to keep up, check in from time to time!

So here's that page and that donation button, put it to good use! ;)

ATM just a small fraction of my ports are added to the database, but it will grow every day, and when it's complete, I'll start posting about interesting things.

Announcement   Amiga Seeding the Success Campaign
Announcement posted by DiscreetFX on 9-Jun-2008 21:12:11 (7215 reads)
Chicago, Illinois – June 9th, 2008

For Immediate Release

DiscreetFX had recently purchased all intellectual properties of Aladdin 4D rendering software.

Now the firm (that is a well known name in the Amiga scene) is ready to launch Aladdin 4D as a multi-platform rendering software package, but there is a little problem.

Eric Schwartz has created a mascot for Aladdin 4D, a beautiful fairy Djinn... But this girl has no name at all... yet.

A new Yahoo group for Amiga Users from Western Australia has been founded.

This eGroup is aimed to facilitate the formation of an electronic community for people living in Western Australia, and the broader Amiga community, and as a place for local Amiga users who are un-aware of the larger global Amiga communities and would like to get into contact with local users, either to return to the Amiga community at large, or to pass on valued hardware or software to people who might make better use than leaving it sitting in storage, or being trashed.
