New Windows drivers for Catweasel |
| Hardware News posted by Wiesel on 2-Dec-2006 20:34:19 (2435 reads) |
After the last update about three months ago, we mainly received bug reports that referred to writing Amiga disks. The errors could not be reproduced on our test systems immediately, therefore the solution took longer than we wanted our customers to wait. Many thanks must go to customers who patiently reported bugs and helped us test the new drivers. The new beta version (now a release candidate) can be downloaded for free from our support page on www.ami.ga.

WookieChat 2.4 released |
| Software News posted by jahc on 30-Nov-2006 8:30:10 (4389 reads) |
WookieChat 2.4 ready.. the best wookie ever!
The installer script is back. It provides an easy way of upgrading while retaining settings. It even caters for MorphOS users by installing the OS3.x binary and MorphOS native MUI classes.
A few new languages are now supported. The complete list is: deutsch, english, español, français, greek, italiano, norsk, polski, svenska
What does this program do?
It allows you to connect to Internet Relay Chat networks (IRC!) and chat with other users in a text medium in real-time. Some of the server groups are preconfigured to join an Amiga chat channel upon sucessful connection.

New AW forum for AmigaOS and Multi-Platform Development Projects |
| Amigaworld.net News posted by wegster on 29-Nov-2006 1:56:33 (6009 reads) |
Developer Project Forum: Purpose and Rules
What IS the Developer Project Forum?
Good question. This forum addition has been discussed for some time, involving several members of Staff, the community, and developers of both hardware and software projects. As AW has grown larger over time, numerous threads have repeated themselves time and again, and while containing very useful or helpful information, it's not always easy for either the users or a project participant to find, so information is often repeated, or never seen by those who need it.
This new forum is meant to be an 'official' forum for AmigaOS and related projects- BOTH hardware and software, to allow them to make official announcements on their projects, as well as field questions from users, in a single easy to find location.
