Description: My first packet-radio station in city band , controlled by a Amiga 1200 with a MBX1230/50Mhz/FPU50Mhz, 16 Mb of RAM and Hard disk 2.5 of 120 Mb. The transceiver for Packet is an Alan 78+ connected to a modem Alan RMD 1200 and to the serial port of the Amiga 1200. For the transmission of voice i use an Alan 8001, all this connected to an amplifier Zetagi BV-131 of 100 watts output, the antenna is a Sirio 827. This whole team allows to be carried out contacts with many countries of Europe in Packet-radio and using English as communication language.
