Oh that poweroff thingy seems a bit silly in a way. One would like to get away from the 4 second delay of holding the power button, so instead you get a 10 second software delay..?? That tool should have two buttons: "Off now" and "Abort" IMO :) _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. |

I think its a nice feature, holding it in for four seconds is irritating, specially if the x1000 is under the table or just little away from where you sit.. just press and go.. you don't need to sit there in 10 sec.. _________________ nox's in the house! |

It dosen't have to be 10seconds ...it could be instanteous, for example, as the button is font and centre and the 10 delay is prevent accidental shut down (by leaning on the button).
The delay is up to you.

Ah, thank you. By the way, I registered twice on the a-eon site, thinking my serial number was incomplete, I got the registration info today, so please ignore the second.

Like the PowerButton, here are my suggestions:
Arexx Interface: Make other apps capable of powering down the X1000 Scheduler: as not all Apps do have ARexx, or send a "CD Burn/Printjob/copyjob/... done message", it would be great to shutdown, say 11 p.m. etc.
