After failing to get Samba working a few times (I think due to changes in Vista and 7) and it being rather complex, I had the idea of trying the Amiga Explorer files from Amiga Forever on OS 4.1.1

Works a charm! Literally click it on the Amiga, click it on the PC and browse the Amiga's hard disks from Windows explorer over TCP/IP.

Only problem is, its pretty slow. I think the default settings are for classic Amigas, and optimized for the serial port.

Anyone got any settings, or ways to improve the speed over Ethernet of Amiga Explorer?

It seems a great, simply to use way of transferring files between my Amiga and PC.

Increase packet size.
