| Have you noticed that you can't buy anything from Amigakit/amigastore of Hyperion's products, Amigaos 4.1 final Edition is not present, but Cloanto's products are present. Hyperion products were present in the past, even Gorky 17 is not there. In the Manufacturers column, there is no Hyperion but there is Cloanto. Anyone have an explanation? |

| @SinanG No, I don't think so, we can only buy Amigaos 4.1 final edition for Classic. The other platforms I can buy them in all Amiga dealers except Amigakit. Why doesn't the biggest Amiga dealer sell the Amigaos 4.1? Hyperion still notes on its website Amigakit as the seller of their product. |

Given the toxic legal environment Hyperion has created perhaps Amigakit feel wise to avoid any contact. |

Not sure why they've removed Hyperion from the quick links when there's a whole load of other companies there that no longer exist or make Amiga products.
I don't think they ever got any more copies of Gorky 17 beyond the initial batch, I did ask a few years back when I was down there. Freespace is still in stock.
OS4.1FE is about 4 years old now and most people who'd have upgraded to it probably have by now so they might have just run down they're stock and not re-ordered. Besides there could be a new paid update on the cards and it's better not to have to write stock off in such circumstances.
You can still get OS4.1FE from them if you're buying an X5000 at the same time. |

Hyperion and AmigaKit are business partners and not friends.
According to one of the leaked audio files, Hyperion has sold the last AOS4 Version for 'Classics' on their own account after they let AmigaKit / A-Eon believe they would not do this.
And maybe AmigaKit won't be involved with a businnes whereHyperion sells AmigaOS 3.1.4 that 'may be illegal'.

What, and miss out on the fun of guessing and gossiping?
That said, the likelihood that AmigaKit provides a direct answer, or any answer at all, really, strike me as slim and none._________________ I've decided to follow an awful lot of people I respect and leave AmigaWorld. However, I won't post a response purportedly given to a user who asked and received said response.
