| This is not a thread, but a News item!
Usually, all News items use an image. The image is larger than 640x480, but it fits perfectly on the screen. _________________ AROS One Home Site AfA One Amiga OS 3.9

| The TOS is like that so that the site is not broken. It's not a thread/news issue. They use an image, they just have their size adjusted. _________________ Indigo 3D Lounge, my second home. The Illusion of Choice | Am*ga

| Pixie, there have been other news items with larger screenshots, but you only like to criticise AROS.
If you don't like AROS One, don't look at it!
You are just clearly obstructing the work done day and night by a 72-year-old man. _________________ AROS One Home Site AfA One Amiga OS 3.9

| First of all, news items cannot be edited. I have always used that format on all forums and no one has ever said anything to me about it. Furthermore, news items are reviewed and approved before being published. _________________ AROS One Home Site AfA One Amiga OS 3.9

| Look, first you told me I had something against aros... Which is blatantly untrue. Those times I referenced the TOS issue the pictures were in one case turned onto a link, on another it was downsized. I don't know if the issue has since been solved, and therefore not needed anymore. The TOS remain the same, the actions were done before. You say the news items are reviewed... Like in the sense they are posted? It's a long time since I post some news here but it's not my recollection.
A normal people once recognizing it has misjudged would retract from their statements if found not to be true, but you seem to not care at all. _________________ Indigo 3D Lounge, my second home. The Illusion of Choice | Am*ga

| Furthermore, scrolling amigaworld down, it seems only you do not abide by the width, everyone else's with those few exceptions, seemed to have understood, and make appropriate usage of the images and make the best out of them to fit the current site layout, maximizing both the site and their own content integration. It's not that I don't want you to show your work, but you shouldn't need to break the page layout because of a screenshot, you can have a downsized image and people can click to check if they want to check it, just look at the available examples...
You remind me of that guy in the joke who hears on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on the highway, looks out his windshield, and says, 'One car? There are hundreds of them!'" _________________ Indigo 3D Lounge, my second home. The Illusion of Choice | Am*ga

| AmigaWorld layout

Broken layout

Proposed solution

Do you think this proposed solution detracts from the goal of having the users to check yours AROSONE distro? I would say quite the contrary, it gives users a glimpse of AROS ONE before clicking on it and well integrated with AmigaWorld layout. _________________ Indigo 3D Lounge, my second home. | I am attaching a small Update/Fix archive for AROS One v1.3 64bit that includes some improvements. This archive is not suitable or useful for previous versions of AROS One.
Update: - Update broadcom4400.device - Amiberry script (replaces the ‘duplicate’ binary) AmiberryPlayer will save a config file in the Amiberry folder each time it is run. Subsequently, if Amiberry is run from the binary, it will load the previously saved config file. The script will solve this problem by deleting the config file before running Amiberry.
Be careful not to confuse the names: Amiberry is the script, Amiberry.exe is the executable.
Fix: This script will delete unnecessary folders and files that were copied by mistake!
