| That's quite a lot of money to open sourcing and porting an existing USB stack. _________________ Rock lobster bit me. My Workbench has always preferences. X1000 + AmigaOS4.1 FE "Anyone can build a fast CPU. The trick is to build a fast system." -Seymour Cray

| If there is anyone not donating because they are uncertain of registering with Paypal, I can say that atleast I have not regretted one day that I signed up. It's very easy to use, and sequre way to transfer money. _________________ AmigaOS or MorphOS on x86 would sell orders of magnitude more than the current, hardware-intensive solutions. | @Manu From the website it looks like you can use credit cards as well (if you don't want to use PayPal). Click on the PayPal link to see the credit card payment option. |

| 3000$ is old news it seems....
The bounty now stands at 3790, but since I haven't matched the last 290$ yet, the bounty if effective at 4000$.
A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE :)
I will match the sum remaining to 4000$ on tomorrow as today... I ran out of my card limit :) _________________ https://www.axrt.org

| Hi deadwood, you are a man of your word. We can see the PayPal Notifications in our power2people inbox. With the last three contributions and your pledge to match them, the bounty will reach the $4000 target. That is really great. And, thanks to all the rest of you. We are working on a couple of very exciting hardware projects currently with some very large companies. One of the items we have discussed lately with them is power2people and community support. We will make sure this latest effort comes to the attention of our customers and partners. Long term this will produce some positive benefit for the entire community. Good work!
We also had a chat with Michal this week on his progress. AROS on the EFIKA is progressing well.

| A big thank you to everyone who donated, and especially to deadwood for starting this initiative and for putting up some big money. Although I dont want to exclude anyone, I'd like to also make mention of Roel B and Rudi B who have put up $518 and $200 respectively since deadwoods generous offer, and Neil C and Genesi who put up $400 and $1000 respectively prior to this initiative.
Reading back what Ive written I guess I should clarify that I have no involvement with this bounty, Im just a guy who was humbled by peoples generousity and thought the above deserved thier props.
Despite having effectively reached the $4000 please dont be shy in easing the stress on deadwood's piggy bank for the remaining few hundred dollars.
Thanks again everyone |

| I have donated previously but sadly I just dont have the cash this time round.
As an existing Poseidon user I am excited to see it is close to being open sourced as it is an first class product and I would love to see it become the standard across all amiga platforms.
But I also have to say that I have been using OS4.1 on my SAM440ep for a while now and the build in USB stack also works nicely most of the time even if it is not quite as mature as Poseidon, so I dont want do see it die. _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar
