| There's no denying it... Coooooool as ****.
Personally I thought it could be possible one way or another (Althought I never thought I'd see the day), then I downloaded Dragon & thought, now THAT'S a clever trick. With Dragon you can drag & still see each of the screens updating.
Today, this is here... It's live, it's native, it's fast.
OMG!!! That's also the FIRST thing checked off the OS4 Suggestions & Stuff thread. "It's aliiive I tells ya!"

The music is a "one night" music by me, I do many "one night music" but I never release them. This video is a way for me to release a music ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any chance that you could put up an mp3 of your music for downloading? _________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid...

That reminded me of some of the comments I've heard from Windows users. like trying to explain the good thing with not needing to have the active window on top: "What is it good for?" We're doing fine without that feature etc. |
Kinda like when the PC users use to laugh at us and ask why we would want to be doing more than one thing at a time. They scoffed until Windows (sort of) did it... Then it was the best thing ever invented, and Microsoft got all of the credit. I would be willing to bet that if Microsoft introduced screen dragging tomorrow, the world would proclaim it to be the best thing ever, and Microsoft would go down in history as the inventor of draggable screens.

I posted the link to the file on another forum, and I've had a couple of non-Amiga people say "that's cool, but what's the point?" Explaining how screens work is the difficult bit, but once people see what is possible - wow! _________________ After a decade away from the scene, I am back!

Actually I'd say that's mplayer running fullscreen in the background in a smaller resolution. He takes it out of fullscreen mode and it returns to its window on Workbench. |

| @Everyone
Let me say something: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!
I had very very little interest in OS4 and was dissapointed because "Supposedly" its not possible to drag screens in VGA modes............
Now I am the Happiest Man Alive! I am willing to Buy an A1 again soley for this feature in Amiga OS again!
I love Dragging screens.....its more productive for sure.................................I hope WinUAE will be able to do it too soon.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW!
A1, here I come......I am sooooooooo encouraged........... you have no idea!!!!
Worth the Wait of OS4 just for this! |
