I made drivers for the Terratec Aureon Sky and Space. I didn't get the digital in to work yet, though, but the biggest part works. I recommend this one nowadays. The driver is not public yet, but you can get it on request from me now if you wish.

Thanks!
I can send you some example code to make a user-written plug-in, but the new audio system will get a new open plug-in system anyway, and when that comes, AE will make use of that.

I'm sorry about that ross.
I was wondering what would be the most advanced/best soundcard that drivers are available for OS4 in general and for use with AE4 in particular!
I had heard of support for soundcards besides SB cards (specifically the 512i from Terratec) and wondered if there had been any support for more modern (available to get hands on) soundcards besides that one(I realize that the chips on most soundcards can vary from modell to modell making full support difficult in the least).

Well thats good news. I'll have to see which ones are available and what prices I can get and then I'll probably see if I can get AE4 as a christmas present.

| Hey, really nice news! Currently i use PC/Win for making the mastering of my music, it may be nice to switch on AOne with this soft. Does this soft has a full midi implementation? Is AE4 able to edit samples easily?
Hummm, my Roland Keyboard need to be connected via Midi.

I can't speak for Davy but I guess AE features "just" MIDI remote control - you shouldn't expect audio/MIDI integration as we know it from Cubase etc. AE is not a MIDI sequencer.
Anyway, well done Davy! Any more recent screenshots to share with us?

| Currently, there is no MIDI on the A1. AE4 supports MIDI start synchronisation and MIDI remote control. Besides that, there is some new mechanism to synchronize (and more) to other applications like Bars&Pipes, but that's currently not in B&P yet, although Alfred and I have talked about it.
