| ...any chance you could make some dVds, and sell them to raise money and cover your overheads? (not for profit...) I would like separate ones, example, one with IMDB, one with mods, one with demos, one with programs/data/text files..., and size permitting, not archived, just the stuff, so mods could -just be played-, IMDB just be browsed, etc, on some of the lesser operating systems out there. The programs could still be archived, cause they get installed instead of 'played with'.
Anyway, what a great service you provide, and done better and better and better. Many thanks! |

| Aminet is a really important asset for the future of Amiga(OS) since many old time Amigans will look there for new software. Thanks for keeping it alive!

| Ok, web upload was borked, I broke it some days ago when fixing another thing. It works now.
As for FTP upload, that's a weird one. Seems to work for me (and a bunch of others).
Send an e-mail to aminet@aminet.net with a description please ;) Last edited by nicomen on 09-Oct-2005 at 02:28 AM.

| I just tried the web interface and I uploaded 2 files
I got this message:
"Thank you for your upload Your upload to Aminet is much appreciated. Hopefully within 24 hours it will be looked thru by a moderator and put in the tree."
as for the ftp thing yesterday, i use FileZilla (on a PC, well heck, that's what I have). I have never had a problem with that program. it's almost like it was written for Amiga. anyway, i can get to the files and yesterday it just indicated that there was some error uploading. I don't want to try uploading via ftp right now only because I don't want to screw up whatever I may have uploaded via the web interface. I may try it later when I have something else to upload.
anyway, if it works there will (hopefully) be a set of Flower PNG Icons - strangely enough called "Flower_icon.lha" and a set of Guitar PNG icons. Mysteriously refered to as "guitar_icons.lha"
and both might be found in the pix/icons dir _________________ "In terms of worship, I worship the God of Irony. That's the only God that I know exists." Terry Gilliam
