Thanks for the info. I know what you mean in that it is a lot for such a little board but really all I am asking for is graphics, sound, DVD, HD (all standard things) and one little extra in the form of a Catweasel.
Like you say - as soon as more drivers are updated and released then the sound will go on board and free up a slot so perhaps it is best to wait.

| Since its a new release, shouldnt it be named something like UBoot 2011.03.21?
The name UBoot 2010.06.04 make it sound like its released a year to late.... |

As the 460ex only have 3 slots, one destined for a graphics card, using HDD, Optical
unit, external sound card and a Catweasel is quite impossible.
AFAIK you can't have a SATA card on the PCI-e 1x slot yet. So you'll need to have a
SATA card on the PCI slot for now. Which stops you from using your Catweasel and
sound card.
Priority One for ACube would be to fix SATA for PCI-e IMO, so people can start using
the PCI slot for other expansions, like Catweasel's or sound card's.
Priority Two would be to fix sound drivers for the internal sound.
And last priority would be to fix DMA for internal SATA connector. Most people would
use the PCI-e slot anyway if support for SATA cards through it was working.
It's too bad ACube didn't put four SATA connectors onboard instead so users wouldn't
have these problems. Even two would have been OK. It would also make the 460ex alot
more expandable. As it stands now two of the three slots has to be used straight away
leaving only one free for expansions.
Enough for me as I would probably not expand my Amiga further, but too little for people
like you that wants to expand.

It is modular. I need just one SATA for example. If you want more use pci, you still have onboard, pii express all in a flex atx mb.
