I don't readily understand this. If you want a small machine, get a MicroA1 (since pricing does not seem to matter). The board is 17x17cm, I have a small case here that is not much bigger than three DVD boxes next to each other.

MicroA1 would be GREAT! Its currently a developer machine at best, til OS4 is done. I thought I'd have one by now but I backed out cause of current rate of development and lack of corprate support. What can you expect from just a couple guys in Germany with few resourses. REALLY, I Love you guys and your like Gods to me. You keep my dreams alive and I haven't ran an Amiga since before Y2K.

I think a brand name will succeed to break open the STB market when they are small enough and capable enough. Perhaps TIVO, Apple/Mac, Amiga, MS (Yuck!) , Linux, etc. Good thing the others are so Bloated. I honestly think AOS4 could have a chance if hardware restictions weren't so severe. AOS4 should run on any and all possible PPC h/w eventually.

I know MacMini or whatever isn't G5 (or better, yet). But I believe a few of the top 10 super computers in the world are Apple G5 clusters. You could get about 6 or 8 mini's for the price of a decent Dual G5. $50K could get you a thousand nodes ready to go...

If I sent you a MacMini for your office would you hook it up ? Seriously ?

Keep up the Great work.

What the #### are Amiga Inc doing? Last minute conditions? We could have had more machines running OS4 out there. For ####s sake. Who's call was that?? I'd like to know who's reponsible.

Hi jahc,

Keep in mind what happened the last time they got involved with a really small company. (Heck, it happened because we dealt with MAI too.)

BB tried to HIJACK AOS4.0 copies for FOUR DOLLARS and FIFTY CENTS each!!!!!!

Is this something we could call pass on? FOR SURE!

I'm really shocked that they even answered the phone on this one.

mini Mac mini this, mini Mac mini that. Hasn't everyone figured out it's an overpriced (rip off) useless item yet? (If you buy all the bells and whistles from Mac, like you're supposed to.)
It's unexpandable, it's not Tivo, it's not a games console, it's waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to expensive to replace your living room DVD player. So what's left, use it to retrieve e-mail???? Okay, it's your currency to toss away.

Couldn't agree more! They should close themselves in their offices, entrenche behind their desks and don't let anyone in, nor answer to phone calls!

Business? Pfft, that's for normal companies. AInc isn't normal, is it?

(Of course this is a joke, any attempt at moderating this down will highlight the lack of humor in the moderator )

Errr, arn't these most of the arguments against buying a Micro A1 (which is slower, equally unexpandable, has considerably less software and is considerably more expensive). I mean c'mon, get with the program - statements like this are what give Amiga enthusiasts a bad name.

Fale - sorry, but sarcasm is the lowest form of wit - and as such you only just made me chuckle ... try harder

Hi Holley,

Okay, I think I stepped in something that your avatar drops from the sky (I'm only joking), am guilty on all counts, but there is a difference between us and Apple Computer (Corp?). $3 to $6 billion - $300,000, is the difference!

Can one possibly brag about your highlights of AmigaOne? Obviously not.

AmigaOne, at the present time is in a bind, and is what it is.

Meanwhile, Apple is pulling a fast one.

Hi falemagn, Bodie_CI5,
