Just for information, Fab has already got an OS4 machine, namely his Pegasos II. He even uses it rarely to make some speed comparision tests. But I'd rather see him working for MophOS since it is what he really likes than loosing his time doing something he doesnt'like..

I would like to see this version on OS4 too !

This is good idea to encourage its envelop for Amiga OS 4

I said I would like to see this version of OWB on OS4, I didn't ask to Fab to port it to OS4. I know him enough to say he won't do the port itself because he has no personal reasons to do that. But he is an open guy and he will share the code and even will help (tell me if I am wrong).

Again, Fab, great work !

Indeed, I'd prefer if someone with a real dedication to OS4 would try to port it, because projects where the porter doesn't have a real reason to support the target OS are generally badly maintained, and that mostly means unfinished applications with serious bugs, by lack of motivation.

But if someone feels motivated enough to compile, adapt and maintain OWB for OS4, I have no problem giving help (like i did for MPlayer with AROS for instance).

Now, the "problem" is OWB already exists for OS4, so it's a bit weird to have two forks of the same project on the same OS, IMO. :)

the best thing to do now, is to find someone that would do that and tell him to speak with joerg to see if joerg want or doesn't want to continue develop OWB.. if he doesn't want then the new developer could contact you (Fab) to work together on it..
