Announcement   Announcement : IOSPIRIT: Spring special promotion with drivers for free
posted by Anonymous on 16-Mar-2005 13:34:02 (1986 reads)
Even before the calendaric beginning of spring, spring has arrived in Germany and at IOSPIRIT. "Time to polish our offers.", we thought. No sooner said than done:

We keep our low special prices of only 9,99 EUR per title until the 31st of March - and add even more to it: as a free extra, fxSCAN and VHI Studio now come with full versions* of our drivers. For fxSCAN that is the IOUSB Scanner Package and for VHI Studio that's the IOUSB DigiCam Package and the VHI RS232 Pack**.

Take advantage of this truely low-priced opportunity and give the gift of software made with love to your computer

* free extra - thus without support, functional guarantee or warranty of any kind. You find the serials of the drivers on the invoice that you are being sent via email as PDF.
** the VHI RS232 pack does not contain Olympus drivers. These are no longer available.

I have snooping around the web page, looking for scanner driver etc, it only looks like it ScanFX only supports OpenPCI, until OpenPCI is supported on AmigaOne that product is on ice form me at least, or ScanFX supports native PCI drivers on OS4.0

At current moment I’m not inn need of A4-scaner nor do I have the cash for it, so I’m going to wait some more until I find a need for it.

I had ScanFX3 on my A4K, but dropped it since, it was very good
(well OCR was bad, but they pushed it hopefully!)

I'd like to have more information from IOSpirit regarding the USB Scanners.

Will there be support for the OS4-USB stack?
I know it's not out yet, but do they even THINK of supporting it?

I'd love to get me such an USB-scanner, IF there is support!

EDIT: Forget it
Found it on their site...
