Just a thought, but I didn't see any links to where to get it from...?

Yeah it's great in multiplayer mode too :) I have used many nights playing it against other players :) It's just sad that I have to use Windows version.. 060 is a bit too slow when there is lots of traffic.

Sorry Mikey C, but do you really think it is wise to promote pirated TTD Files?
There is a reason why OTTD comes without

* sample.cat
* trg1r.grf
* trgcr.grf
* trghr.grf
* trgir.grf
* trgtr.grf

which is included in the Archiv you link for download. You not only harm this site here, but also the whole OTTD Effort. It would be the same when someone would put Scumm online with installed Monkey Island or Mame with dozens of Roms. Please remove the Archive.

MikeyC: Well, the legal download link would be OS4Depot obviously...grrr.

There are copies of TTD sale for E-Bay all the time.

erm dude, the game is over 12 years old! It's sooo old you cannot buy it even on budget label. the only way you can get it is via ebay, from someone selling it second hand.

I do wish some people would get realistic, besides, if you think that's bad, all you need to do is search in google or the likes and you'll find the files available elsewhere.

I DON'T condone piracy for any games/software that are still commercially available, but for a 12 year old game that is no longer being circulated....

Oh well, it's been taken off now, so, the point is mute anyhow.

@mikey

I assume you mean you "dont" condone piracy?

I believe I saw several people at the gathering in Norway playing this, unless there has been released some other new train simulation game. :)

My version is (c) by Infogrames 1999.

Anyway, SDL port has been improved greatly since this was ported, and new recompile is coming when the next version of OpenTTD is out.

Is this not based on the same engine as Rollercoaster Tycoon?
Anyone thought about asking chris sawyer to release the code for the original. Or even better RCT3.
Love the game.
