Announcement   Announcement : 'dev.amiga.hu' is raised from the dead at Amiga.Sourceforge.net
posted by TheAMIgaOne on 8-May-2005 16:15:50 (2372 reads)
After posting my sad News about LouiSe dev.amiga.hu, the Amiga developer site that died on the 13th Dec, I`m rather pleased to find out that someone else has taken control of the Database, and it is now hosted on http://amiga.sourceforge.net

The old LouiSe site contained a lot of help based on the Amiga APIs
such as MUI, Autodocs, P96, CyberGFX etc. and also a superb
programming environment hardfile for UAE or a real Amiga based on WB3+

Visit the new site at http://amiga.sourceforge.net/amigadevhelp/

Many thanks to Lajos Nagy for allowing Amigadevhelp to be re-released

Me too...

I guess it's a developers circle thing. Excellent news though!

lol i knew someone would know about it already but just noticed no ones said anything yet, it actually transfered on to amiga.sourceforge.net in Jan 2005, but wasnt as complete as it is now.

hehe still good news for ppl. plus i noticed AW.net has been a bit quite on news the last couple of days

I'm not saying the site at sourceforge is old news, although it's been up for a while, just saying the resurrection of Louise's site is not new news as it has already been done by myself on utilitybase earlier this year after getting his permission.

I'm still waiting for answers from Amiga Inc/Hyperion for the OS includes to be allowed there. And from the MUI team for putting up their includes alone (MUI-dev can only be distributed unchanged)

So right now I'm actually criminal, although I believe it's in their own interest so it can be seen as abandonwareish behaviour.

Even though it's questionnable it's not being done with intention to harm, scam or take advantage of the property of others. So I'll keep them around while waiting for answers.
