Sorry for the  but, I've long heard the story, and it is also repeated at wikipedia, that the 'X' in Xmas is actually the Greek letter 'chi' which has long been an abbreviation of the Greek word for Christ. For the word 'long', you can substitute the phrase 'since the time of the Holy Roman Empire'.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled great news about MPlayer.
BTW, has anyone else wondered about the 'requires OS4 Final' bit? Is that a hint? Hmmm???

| I can't find how to switch to full screen. On later versions, double-clicking in the window or pressing letter "F" worked. Now it doesn't...

| I've noticed that some flv (youtube) files that played OK with the previous MPlayer (experimental 3) now have their audio & video out of synch. I'm using MplayerGUI. I've tried selecting both 'Framedrop' and 'Force idx' but neither seemed to make a difference.
Any ideas?

I have problems with some avi files and one .mov file.
The movie gets strange wave's so the movie arent watchable.
The mov file is transformers trailer1.mov
First bytes in hexread 00000020 66747970 71742020 20050300
one of the avi files have this info in them
RIFFj..+AVI LIST2...hdrlavih8 strlstrh8 vidsXVID
and this first bytes in hex 52494646 6a96c72b 41564920 4c495354
anyone else have problems. afxgroup maybe knows of this problem ? |

| With OS4Finalupd and the XMAS release of Mplayer, I can watch video files on my HD through the icon/GUI. But if I use the shell, I get the following (the conf files are from the Aug release of MPlayer):
