Will this work with AmiKit & Vista?

@sundown

No reason that it shouldn't since AmiKit runs on top of WinUAE.

There is no reason WinUAE should not work on Vista (or Win 7 for that) and many people already do use it on both 32 and 64 bit installations of Vista and 7.

@_Steve_

I'm still using v1.4.6 with AmiKit because of a small gfx problem. I now know the fix for the pointer problem, just wondering if anyone has tried it yet & if the fix is still required. Should have been more specific in my first post.

Pointer with a pink box with the fix being to add the -dd option, RunAmiKit=-ddsoftwarecolorkey -f... .

Just installed it and it' working flawlessly.

The previous version (1.6.0) had a nasty bug with the configuration files (or was the ASPI uaescsi.device emulation crash bug?! Hmmm...) that when i selected one configuration that i already had it immediately crashed on me. I reinstalled it, using that same config file... bang! Reinstalled it again and started a new configuration from scratch and it worked the first time but when i started it again with that fresh config file... bang!

This version fixed that. Other than this previous 'bug' i haven't noticed anything "strange" yet.

Thank you Toni!

I'm not planning to use windows on my systems ever again, so I wish Tony could make a 100% Linux Wine compatible version. Perhaps a UAE Live CD...
