| This part is really impressive:
- MMC/SD/SDHC cards - FAT16/FAT32 filesystems - subfolders (unlimited number of entries and depth) - Long File Names - alphabetical sorting of entries - selection of files and subfolders with a keypress - scrolling of entries with PgUp/PgDn/Home keys - selection of parent directory with Backspace key - up to 4 virtual floppy drives - up to 2 hard files emulating A600/A1200 hard disk controller (up to 4095 MB each) - optional higher memory card transfer speed (requires simple hardware modification - highly recommended) - firmware upgrades directly from the memory card
Finally subfolders and long file names, SDHC cards, off to get a 32GB sd card then for my Minimig! Last edited by TheDaddy on 15-Sep-2009 at 06:26 AM.

| Great, great., great
When Minimig with built in ARM, flashed firmware, additional 2MB FAST RAM and hard drive will be availiable. Now its more small Natami look a like! _________________ Future Acube and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionals. Learn it harder way!

Hi, I´m very interested in miniMig. I heard of two versions a 1.1 and a 1.2. Is that right?
What is the differents?
I would like to order the latest one. But where?
This Update is for ARM-Board Users?
Where can I buy this board? Or do docs exist for building it DIY?
Please help, need this combo.

| Hi all ;)
For those who experience some trouble upgrading their ARM controller, please take a look at the little Firmware upgrade guide I have written.
I can also provide the memory extension and hardfile access acceleration modification on your Minimig's board for 100 euros (return shipping costs excluded and VAT included) for informations ! Please note that these hardware modifications CANCEL automatically your warranty on the Minimig's board !
Just take a look at my Minimig's and accessories prices list.

To my knowledge there is no v1.2, all the ones ACube have produced are v1.1.
Go to amikit, Vesalia or ACube websites to order one.

| The day Minimig is available with ethernet- and DVI/HDMI-ports is the day I'll consider getting one. _________________ That'll Put Marzipan In Your Pie Plate, Bingo 💻 Pro-Amiga, 🌍 Pro-Globalism, 🍅 Pro-Vegan, 🛦 Pro-NATO & 🇪🇺 Pro-Joint EU Defense Intervention Initiative

Sorry but the prices for a super Minimg are just to high but this is not your fault.
There are so much enhancement, the Minimig needs a redisign.
Super Minimig: New PCB, Mini ITX formfactor, more RAM (Fastram ?), faster 68k (68020 ?), intergrated ARM chip for filehandling.
LowCost Minimg: New PCB, different FPGA, 68k integration into the FPGA and SD-card handling by integrated 68k CPU.
Is there no Amiga dealer or manufacturer left that could start a small production ?Last edited by Arko on 16-Sep-2009 at 12:56 PM.

| Thank you. Since new ARM controller supports floppy and small 2,5" hard drive, how much would it be to add it and will such a case be designed?
How to add it to this super SAM (whose price is quite much, especially the 2MB RAM) _________________ Future Acube and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionals. Learn it harder way!

No it does not. It support 4 simulated floppies and 2 simulated harddisks on a SD-Card
>How to add it to this super SAM
You are the first one speaking of SAM, the Minimig id independent from the Sam development. _________________ AmigaONE. Haha. Just because you can put label on it does not make it Amiga.

| @Arko This is the board you are looking for: http://www.fpgaarcade.com/ It already runs the Minimig core, shouldn't be too long now before it is released. Petah, you should take a look too, it has a DVI port. |

| Froidian mistake.
But sure the price of upgraded MiniMig (ARM+RAM+HDD) goes much closer to SAM price then believed before (MiniMig was considered low cost 68k board.
But not to be to picky ,its a huge step forward, FAST RAM and 28Mhz CPU add much to productivity, long file names, WHDLoad, FFS hard usability ...
Some downgrade in price for all in one pack should be considered. Minimig 1.2? Hard drive and Amiga floppy and SD card in next miniITX case design? Full ECS compatibility, if not AGA? Next level FPGA? ColdFire or similar better Freescale 68k design CPU?
Not the mention the large TFT _________________ Future Acube and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionals. Learn it harder way!

| Oh hard drives are simulated (in a file)?
Then again is the 4GB SD card max? _________________ Future Acube and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionals. Learn it harder way!
