@Marko

It looks nice and polished except the "Extras" windows. They look so outdated.

It's nice to see how many are actually paying attention :)

You're only the second one to spot it :)

This part is cool. Image Windows-lovers claiming that AmigaOS can't make such choices, then prove them wrong with this update..

Image saying "I'm sorry, buddy, but you are wrong. Take a look here.."

Then you both watch the installation of this update. Your Windows-friend is stunned, realizing that he was all wrong, trying to walk away with the tail between the legs.

Amiga makes it possible

Cool!

I think MPlayer (with it's GUI of course) should be included too, with the authors permission naturally.

I don't suppose there will be any difference between the included versions of programs like OWB and Tunenet and the ones we can download ourselves.

@RacerX

Simon has already said that the Tunenet included is an updated version.

@Rigo

Very nice work! This helps make a good first impression.

One thing I always try to do with my user interfaces is to remove as many words as possible and retain the message. You may disagree with some suggestions but there is always room for improvement. I have been doing this for 20+ years and am still learning...

I humbly submit the following suggestions:

1. Remove "You may choose from the options below:".

2. Change "Set the Location and Keymap of your computer and have the CD boot up in the language of your choice"
     to: "Set computer's location and keyboard settings"
     (show the boot up information in the "extra" info when the item is highlighted)
     ("keymap" means nothing to a newbie user)

3. Change "Start the Hard Disk configuration utility and configure your drives and partitions"
     to "Configure drives and partitions"
     ("Hard disk" is getting out of date with SSD)

4. Change "Start the AmigaOS 4.1 installation utility"
     to "Start the AmigaOS 4.1 installation"

5. Change "Continue and start Workbench directly from CD"
     to "Start Workbench directly from CD"

Cheers

@gregthecanuk, trixie

Some nice suggestions there, I'll look at these.

The idea was to try and be versose and general at the same time, but the suggestions are appreciated.

An optionnal check and download of updates before installation of additionnal programs should be cool too, if network is ready.

Will AmiUpdate be included as part of the OS?

Is it 4.1 or 4.1.1 ?
