using AmiVNC from my laptop right now to post this via OWB.
It seems a bit faster than the old version. At 1024x768 16bit it's a little slow but quite usable.
At 1440x90016bit it's definatly slower but just passable. thanks for the great work!

Do you use Zlib? You can also try the VVA (BGR233) mode "-a" if you don't care too much about colour accuracy.

Hi,

I was looking for comment about AmiVNC and it seems to work for you (ktadd), which
viewer you use? I'm using UltraVNC (latest stable version) and I have the logon screen but
while the screen begin to be draw it desapear.

I tryed several resolution on my A1 and still the same problem.

I tried zlib mode but didn't really notice a difference in speed. I'm using a wireless G connection from my laptop to my Amgia.

I also tried out VVA mode for a bit. It's a bit faster but as you say the colors aren't the best. I only did a quick check of different modes. After that I wanted to actually use it. I'll check it out more this weekend.

I'm using tightVNC v1.3.9 (x86) on my Windows XP laptop.
I haven't checked recently to see if there is a more recent version.
It works though.
