Interesting interview and intriguing photos of nemo, the X1000 case looks smart too. Nice to know the micro A1 I sold to Trevor via eBay back in 2005 went to a good home .

It is very difficult to compete with the sheer volume of cheap x86 Netbooks that have flooded onto the market.

@TrevorD

it's not Open Office.

It's Open Office for Kids

however is a good version of Open Office, maybe more easy to use :)

@bitman
It can be a very good thing after all.
99% of users use only 1% of OO (or MS Office) features, the rest of the features just stand on your way.

OpenOffice for kids is perfect, it's faster and lighter than OpenOffice standard!
The good news I was waiting for!!!

open office 4 kids is compatible with office 2007 only with document .odt
and can load word 2007 document at 100% if you save it in word 97-2003.

@Seya
Well just open the files (in case they were already saved) in office on your PC and re-save them in in the compatible format.
I deal with 3D data exchange everyday (which is far more complicated) and we manage just fine, office files exchange will be doable worry not.

The interview was a very nice read
