| Well, what is an Amiga? Forget it, I am not going down the route of trying to Justify what is and isn't an Amiga, it has been done to death on here and elsewhere. You may be interested to know that I was the Chief organiser for the Amiga area. Perhaps next time you would like to step in and organise it yourself?
As I said, MorphOS and AROS was on there too, I didn't stop it. To me it looks like you have an axe to grind against me. _________________ No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.

Not at all, in fact should I bump into you anywhere I'll buy you a pint and we'll have a good laugh about the whole thing.
I'm just, as I said in my prevoius post, frustrated when the whole 'camp' gets blamed for the actions of one individual.
Forgive me if this feels heavily directed towards you, but I do find it particularly frustrating that (as a former moderator here and a current moderator at Amigans) you fall into the trap of responding (predicting in this case, before any comments had even been posted no the Register) in an inflammatory way. I cannot see that it serves any purpose beyond stirring up bad feeling. _________________ Troll - n., A disenfranchised former potential customer who remains interested enough to stay informed and express critical opinions. opp., the vast majority who voted silently with their feet.

| I think we should just draw a veil under the whole thing. We have both said what we want to say and I don't think more need be said.
I have made my reasons clear why I said what I said. You are right, perhaps I should stop commenting on here. _________________ No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.

| @Raffaele: I would even go as far, and try to avoid playing the nostalgic card alltogether. Those people remembering it, will remember it anyway by the name.
For the newcomers, "new" Amiga should stand on its own, without any historic stuff tying it to somewhere. |

This generated an AR, I have dismissed it, but please be more tactful. Thanks. _________________ Pegasos2 G3 running AOS 4.1 and MorphOS 2.0 Amikit user, tinkering with Icaros VM (AROS) EFIKA owner Amiga 1200
