| @Aminicle No, it says "Odyssey Browser" is "A user customizable web browser". And a commercial one at that. :( _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue...

Regarding IBrowse, Stefan had it covered, at least regarding the PowerPoint IBrowse.
dunno regarding iBrowse with a lower case I, but Apple does pay Cisco for the use of iOS, complicated world this naming business. _________________ Site admins are people too..pooff!

Guess what? Two wrongs don't make a right! Just because someone *may* have done something wrong, does not mean you should go ahead and do something else wrong too.
Additionally, those browsers (that you quickly found using a Google search) were likely not around when their Amiga name-sakes were introduced. If the Amiga software predates the similarly-named software you found, then I doubt the Amiga software would loose a legal case. (note: IANAL)
Additionally, "Celframe Voyager" doesn't seem too similar to "Voyager".
FINALLY, I would like to point out that I look forward to the OS4 port of Fab's OWB, and in no way intended my earlier post as an attack. I simply pointed out that Aminicle's rebuttal (to tomazkid's stated problem) was clearly wrong. There may be other reasons to discount tomazkid's stated problem, but I haven't seen a valid one yet. And well, Fab may simply not care in any case, but at least he now knows there is a potential problem.Last edited by ChrisH on 11-Aug-2011 at 03:15 PM.

I was referring to this pointless debate on naming of what is essentially a free product. I seriously doubt Fab will hear anything anytime soon in regard to the use of the name Odyssey. Last edited by djrikki on 12-Aug-2011 at 05:13 PM.

| Yea, it's doubtful. And as said above, this other Odyssey browser doesn't really look like a real product, anyway. |
