| What's crazy is that I had never tried WinUAE until very recently because I thought Amiga Forever was the same thing... boy was I wrong. WinUAE is amazing. I have mine boot out to a second (crt) monitor so I'm running Win7 and WinUAE at the same time... Win7 on my widescreen lcd and WinUAE on my little crt so it looks totally authentic. It's soooo much more feature rich than Amiga Forever (imo) and it runs everything I've thrown at it perfectly. I had no idea Amiga emulation was that good. |

I remember when it used to be said that it was impossible could never be done, whilst all the time Amiga's could emulate a Windows PC. Sadly now that statement has very much reversed. |

| this version is much slower than old 2.3.2 or 2.3.3
i tried Breathless without jit, and 2.4.0 is slower and sometimes jerky. No prblems with 2.3.2,
I tried a demo of demoscene: Stars/Therapy and with 2.4 there is icrendible slowdown.. very great with old version..
here a video to show these slowdowns:
the first part of Breathless is on WinUAE 2.4.0 the second part of breathless is on WinUAE 2.3.2 the first part of Stars is on WinUAE 2.4.0 the second part of Stars is on WinUAE 2.3.2

Your comparison doesn't make sense because Amiga Forever actually runs on WinUAE. _________________ Modern Retro Experience

AmiKit runs on WinUAE too. Just download ZIP archive of the latest WinUAE, extract it and copy the WinUAE.exe to your AmiKit\WinUAE folder. _________________ Modern Retro Experience
