Surprise !

Never played normally Shogo on my old a1200 with mediator / voodoo3 / blizzardppc as it always have problems : too offten freezes, or whatever bugs those old amigas give after you put a lot via soldering iron into :)

Sure game now pretty dated to modern standards, but will be fun to play it without problems on my x5k for sure.

Thanks for all your work in this release and glad to see it runs in Software rendering mode too for those who don’t have Warp3D compatible cards.

I had a similar A1200 setup and don't recall having issues you had with Shogo. Like other I would like to see Heretic II revisited since I never completed the game because it was impossible to run it for any meaningful length of time on OS4.

Is Warp3D working on RadeonSI cards?

I had it running on my old A1200 with Mediator and Vodoo 3 back in the day but it was not a huge pleaure. To choppy!

That should not be a problem on my X5000

For me Heretic II instead was stable and fast enough on my a1200, while Shogo give always problems :)

Where you was last years ?:) Its done by Hans since few years for sure, caleld Warp3D SI, can be bough via amistory from aeon. Tested already by all the warp3d/minigl apps, everything works as should.

My bad! My question was NOT very precisely written. Sorry about that!

As far as I know there is some compatibility problems with "old school" Warp3D and the - very good - implementation of Warp3D on Radeon SI.

As far as I understand there is - however - no problems here. And therefore my questions should have been how good it worked on RadeonSI.

You maybe confuse old Warp3D with Warp3DNova, which yes, very different things. But there is also writen pure old Warp3D driver for SI, exactly for make all old Warp3D and MiniGL apps works just like it working before on all those voodoo3 and radeon92xx.

And that "new-for-old" Warp3D driver work 100% fine, and have no compatibility issues with original ones

Bought a copy years ago when it was originally released for amiga. I guess it wouldn't hurt to buy it again since there is now os4 version available :)

It's a shame the Amiga community is not supporting its self. Hyperion should sell it via the "Amiga store" aeon's ami store is what wee need and what wee had needed since 97. An centralized official distabruting shop. I think Iff wee had got that back in the days an people would had supported it and there was no Amiga Inc greed factor. A lot and I meen a lot of developers would still be around

This game always pissed me off with the random critical hit system, but I welcome the effort nevertheless.

Yep, if you have an original copy all you need to do is register (on the Hyperion website) the user number you found in the box, then you will have the access to download a full version for OS4 and even a new one for WarpOS
