OK, so now after DPaint you've learned to use Lightwave and The Gimp.
Nice progress

Thanks for the information this week, and now the pictures.

..just a question about a well known license issue to clear up now.

Cheers,
Bean.

Pretty cool. Hopefully it won't be too long until it is available to buy.

Well, I guess that this time they'll have to admit that Troika has really made some serious progress with them graphics proggies
Kidding aside, I'm afraid they'll keep whining about the license, the low specs and the performance/cost ratio. And, indeed, they can't really be blamed, as those are objectively critical points. I just hope that the comments will be polite and, if possible, constructive.

@Troika

Well done! Keep up with the good job and may the Amy'05 be just the first of a successful series of AOS4 boards!

saimo

So this is an AmigaOne board? (Aren't all boards that follow that spec called AmigaOne's?)

Either way, it does look snazzy. If you guys start making these, but don't get an Amiga license, does it work without OS4? Linux? Otherwise, people will be running pirate OS4 betas on it.

Wow, what a week we're having.

BTW, I forgot to ask. Does Ami05 have any thing to do with the Prometheus PCI expansion card team?

Without the license it cannot carry the "Amiga" name. Let's hope soon it will be able to - I wish all the parties involved will sort the situation out ASAP.

Nice!

It's even better for having a 'proper' silk screened name and logo. At last a real product and not just a derivative - something totally home grown.

Will we have a Linux release before an OS4 release?

Good luck!

Looks good so far...why so many missing components?

I know boards are rarely 100% populated due to design revs or whatever but seems like a lot of missing R's,C's and couple of U's etc.

@Troika

Nice!

I hope the IDE connectors will have REAL sockets and not just those cheap pins?
