Floppy autoloader takes the pain out of archiving 5000 Amiga disks |
| hardware Classic posted by Ferry on 3-Apr-2012 14:52:27 (4685 reads) |
From Hack a Day
[c&p]Archiving data from old floppy disks can be a tedious process at best. Poorly labeled disks combined with slow transfer speeds put it high on the list of things we would rather not do, and it turns out that [Dweller] was of the same opinion. With an estimated 5,000 floppies in his collection, he finally decided it was time to clean house.

New AmigaOS4 Drivers For Catweasel Mk4 |
| hardware OS4 posted by Darrin on 31-Mar-2012 22:50:44 (3877 reads) |
Ian "Spiranthro" Gledhill has posted on Amiga.org that he has made some new drivers (v1.11) available for download for the Catweasel mk4 on AmigaOS4:
Quote:
A quick heads-up: at my Catweasel page (http://www.retroreview.com/iang/Catweasel/) I've just put up the latest version of my Catweasel drivers for AmigaOS 4. I've also included the source, and I've already done MOS and AROS in the past, so it wouldn't be too much work to port it to work on those systems either, probably.
