Software News    WookieChat 1.3 beta now available
Software News posted by jahc on 14-Oct-2004 6:39:58 (3723 reads)
WookieChat 1.3 beta is now available. Visit the homepage or download it from
here.

When I upgraded to the OS4 Update, I found WookieChat 1.2 wouldnt run on it anymore without crashing badly. So I've fixed some of the bugs that caused it to crash, and its now useable on OS4 again. I wanted to implement colours and dcc support but those still arent ready.

Software News   NewsRog goes Open Source
Software News posted by tactica on 12-Oct-2004 14:14:25 (3483 reads)
The best news client available for the Amiga has just gone Open Source
under the GPL license. Point your browser to:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/newsrog/

Don't be surprised if you see 0 CVS commits listed there, sf.net is very slow... the sources are there in the repo.

At the present time the sources do NOT build out of the box, as some makefile(s) are missing. That said, they are entirely C and used to build with SAS/C.
