| At the AOSoLIN website a new patch for Richard Drummond's versions (Linux, OS X, AmigaOS and BeOS) of UAE has been made available: "Amirun is a patch for Drummond's uae which allow you to run directly an executable amiga file instead of the workbench. It is usefull if you want to run an HD-Game without dealing with your amiga workbench."

| Peter Hutchison has written an article for IntuitionBase.com about recompiling old software for AmigaOS4: "If you have an old C program from years ago, it is possible to re-write it for the AmigaOne and AmigaOS 4. Most of my experience is with SAS 6.5x and Storm C (which is based on GCC)."

Testing under OS4 revealed a long standing bug in the IBrowse 2.3 preferences custom class, which manifested itself as a crash as soon as the preferences were launched.
After a short testing period, we are pleased to announce the availability of the new bugfixed custom class, which can be located here http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/resources.php.
We recommend that all users of IBrowse 2.3 install the new custom class, even if you do not have the crash under OS4-Pre, or even use OS4, as the bug is still present and a potential problem.
Note: Those selected users that also tested the fix prior to release should also install this final release in place of the test version they were sent.
